American Homebuyers Foundation, Inc. (AHF) is an IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization. Our mission is to entrust, enhance and establish long term relationships with communities and consumers in all facets of promoting, sustaining and preserving homeownership to keep the American Dream alive. Our vision is to create a well educated and permanent community of homeowners.
AHF began in 2003 with the grassroots initiative to educate and assist homebuyers to become a more responsible homeowner. Since our inception, we have educated well over 25,000 consumers in Pre and Post Home buying Counseling, Mortgage Default Counseling, First Time Homebuyers Counseling & Foreclosure Prevention. AHF has granted over $30,606,139 to more than 15,000 low to moderate income families helping them achieve homeownership and preventing foreclosure. AHF gifted $11,196,760 in 2008 alone through a direct community approach, fund raising and various faith based organizations. We rely on donations from the community to fund our program. The AHF program is dedicated to help low-to-moderate income families achieve homeownership. Our goal is to promote, sustain, and preserve homeownership in America.

Our educational workshops are designed to unite
communities with local faith based organizations,
state and government agencies, real estate
associations, banks and lenders.
- Educational Programs – Offer state approved continuing education courses to real estate professionals and lenders; including topics on new industry laws and regulations, fundamentals and philosophies regarding the current real estate environment.
- Industry Volunteers – Recruit and train networks of local real estate and mortgage professionals to support and participate in community events.
- Government Cooperation – Strengthen cooperation between the government officials and industry related professionals to enhance their perception and understanding in creating solutions to address local economic issues.
- Green Initiative – Enhance the quality of life by educating and promoting “Healthy Housing” approach pioneered by HUD for single family and multifamily housing.
- Local Business Outreach – Programs to educate local business owners about the dynamics of FHA grants and rehab programs for senior facilities, multiple family units, and medical facilities.
- Grant Program – Grant funds can be gifted to low-to-moderate income families for down payment assistance to purchase a home.
- EPD Program – Early Payment Default benefit program effectively eliminating defaults.
- REO Management– Property specialists that effectively manage bank owned properties.
